On September 29th, the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce held a press conference to announce the finalists for 11 different categories to be awarded at the 8th Annual Barrie Business Awards. With about thirty-five people in attendance at the Power Stream office on Patterson Road there was a buzz of nervous excitement in the air.
NetGain was in attendance and anxiously awaited the naming of the finalists for the Best New Business Award. All the finalists for each category were in sealed envelopes to heighten the suspense. The first two finalists for the category were announced, Bodystream and The Lemon Tree, and then NetGain.
